Life at the Ark Centre 🌼

There is always something going on at The Ark Day Care Centre, with a range of activities both in the centre and out in the community to keep everyone engaged, active and enjoying their time together.

A recent trip to the supermarket turned into a great team activity, as we explored the aisles, browsed different products and helped choose items for lunch. At the checkout, everyone got involved by scanning the shopping, taking part in the process from start to finish. Activities like this help to build confidence, encourage independence and make everyday tasks fun!

Back at the centre, a relaxing arts and crafts session provided the perfect opportunity to unwind and get creative. These sessions allow everyone to express themselves, try new ideas and enjoy a calm and friendly atmosphere.

We also enjoyed a fantastic outing to the Ozzy Osbourne Exhibition, celebrating one of Birmingham’s most iconic music legends. The visit gave everyone the chance to explore music history, see interesting displays and enjoy a day out together in the community.

Another popular activity has been spending time in the sensory play area, exploring sounds, lights and interactive equipment in a fun and engaging environment.
